About the Role

About the role

The Lead Business Analyst is a senior level position is responsible for spearheading the analysis of client business practices, processes, and operations, identifying areas of opportunity, and providing actionable insights to optimize procurement strategy and execution. This includes gathering and analyzing business requirements, developing and documenting business processes, evaluating and recommending new solutions, and following up over-all project to ensure timely deliverables. 


Contract type: 06 months contract (Extendable).


Expected starting date: Asap.

 

What you'll do

Client Engagement and Needs Assessment: 

  • Interface with clients to understand their current business model, challenges, and objectives.

  • Define and articulate business requirements from client discussions. 


Data Collection and Analysis: 

  • Gather quantitative and qualitative data related to the retailer’s operations, finance, marketing, supply chain, and HR. 

  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to interpret data. 

  • Conduct detailed SWOT analysis, financial analyses, customer segmentation, and competitive market research.


Strategy Development Support: 

  • Collaborate with the retail strategy consultant and project manager to formulate actionable recommendations based on analysis. 

  • Develop data-driven insights to support proposed business solutions and strategies. 


Team Leadership: 

  • Guide and mentor junior business analysts on the team. 

  • Oversee the consolidation of research and findings from multiple analysts. 

Presentation and Reporting: 

  • Design and create comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations. 

  • Present findings to both internal teams and clients in a clear and compelling manner. 


Continuous Learning: 

  • Stay abreast of latest trends, tools, and best practices in retail and business analysis. 

  • Attend relevant workshops, webinars, and training sessions. 


Stakeholder Communication: 

  • Facilitate communication between clients, internal teams, and any third-party vendors or partners. 

  • Ensure alignment of expectations and deliverables at every stage of the project. Gather and analyze business requirements and business data from stakeholders 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in business analysis with significant experience, referrably in the manufacturing sector. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Experience in using data visualization tools 

  • Experience in project management 

  • Able to travel frequently within and outside of Ho Chi Minh City.

 

Desired skills

  • MBA or other advanced degree in business administration
